Here at Water Works, we have a huge selection of pond plants for your water garden including water lilies, marginals, oxygenators, floating plants, deep water plants and bog garden plants! We have frequent orders throughout the season (March – August) and rotate stock to ensure that the plants we have are at their best. We have years of experience and can help you pick out the pond plants that are most suitable for you!
Our selection is one of the largest and most varied in Leicestershire and the East Midlands. We also have many different sized baskets, aquatic compost, gravel, and premium plant fertiliser.
We are proud to say that the majority of our pond plants are grown in the UK!
Water Lilies
We stock many beautiful varieties of water lily all throughout the year! Ranging from miniature pygmy water lilies, to much larger lilies like our native Nymphaea alba, we have you covered!
Marginal Plants
Our selection changes throughout the year depending on what is in season. We have hundreds of plants; all the basics like iris, marsh marigold, and pickerel weed, and more unique plants like flying hedgehog and Dichromena colorata.
We have many plants that are also suitable for bog gardens.
Our marginal plants come in 9cm pots, 1L baskets, or 3L baskets.
Oxygenators and Floating Plants
We have loads of loose or bunched oxygenators like hornwort, Elodea densa, and water crowsfoot, as well as a selection of more decorative potted oxygenators. We also sell floating water lettuce and water soldiers.
